Colossal Tennis Recreational Player Pathway
The starting point for all new junior players at Baseline Tennis Center. This recreational pathway provides structured, age-appropriate training focused on fundamentals, confidence, and long-term development.
Recreational Program Overview
The Colossal Tennis Recreational Player Pathway serves juniors ages 10–18 who are new to tennis, returning to the sport, or competing at the recreational and entry school levels (Junior Varsity and beginning Varsity). Typically these players will be new to United States Tennis Association (USTA) sanctioned tournament competition in our Northern Section, and unranked in the Universal Tennis Rating System (UTR).
Training emphasizes technical fundamentals, rally development, movement, scoring, and match awareness in a positive, structured environment. This pathway is designed to build a strong foundation — whether a player continues recreationally or later pursues higher-level training.
